Expired payments
When your customer makes a purchase and wants to pay with cryptocurrency, the conversion rate/quote the customer gets is guaranteed by Coinify for 45 minutes for stablecoins and 15 minutes for other supported cryptocurrencies. If no transaction was received for the payment or has been received after the guaranteed time frame, the payment request will expire.
Accepting Late Payments
If you configure to accept late payments, the conversion rate will be calculated at the time the transaction is received.
You can receive notifications for expired payments (and also partial payments) via callbacks and also email, just like with regular payments. Go to "Instant Payment Notifications" under the "Integration Tools" menu to set it up.
Important: It is up to you to arrange the operations with your customers in order to deliver the goods/services, due to the possibility of a price difference. You may have to contact them for a refund or credit, or ask them to make the payment again.
