We understand that customers may attempt to access our platform and complete a payment using VPNs to bypass geographic restrictions. However, it's essential to note that Coinify explicitly outlines the list of unsupported countries in our terms and conditions (T&C). When a customer from an unsupported country initiates payment using a VPN, they should be aware that it may result in payment rejection.
Impact on Payments
When a payment cannot be completed due to the customer's IP address being from an unsupported country, Coinify will refund the amount. However, a charge of up to 250 EUR will be applied to cover administrative costs and processing fees. It's important to note that if the payment amount is below the fee amount, no funds will be refunded.
To prevent such complications, customers should carefully review countries, states, and territories supported by Coinify and adhere to the terms and conditions of the platforms they use.
Furthermore, attempting to bypass geographic restrictions using VPNs from blocked geographical areas may lead to unexpected consequences, including coin withholding and associated charges.
