To enhance your experience and provide improved functionality, we’re introducing a new API. These updates bring significant benefits and enhanced capabilities. Please note that the old API will be shut down on March 31, 2025. To ensure uninterrupted service, we encourage you to migrate as soon as possible. Below, you'll find detailed guidance on the migration process and its advantages.

The new API offers several benefits, including:
- Automatic Refunds: Streamlined handling of refunds.
- Virtual Currency Pre-selection: Simplify incoming payments by pre-selecting a currency.
- Sub-account Configurations: Set up webhook URLs per sub-account.
- Expanded Payout Options: Supports payouts in all available currencies.
- Merchant Refunds in Cryptocurrencies: Process refunds in all supported cryptocurrencies.
- Enhanced Documentation: Includes code examples in multiple programming languages
- Improved Security & Stability: Higher reliability and robust protection.
- Extended Stablecoin Guarantees: Additional assurance for stablecoin transactions.
- Lower Minimum Payments: Reduced thresholds for selected coins.
Steps to Migrate

Review the New API Documentation
Visit the New Payment API Documentation to familiarise yourself with the technical details and capabilities. -
Create an account on the New Dashboard
As an existing merchant/PSP with a Coinify account, please follow the steps in the Migration to the New Dashboard help article so that we can migrate your account data to the new dashboard. -
Create an API key
Once you get the confirmation that you're migrated to the new Dashboard, create a new API key by going to the Payments tab -> Developers -> Create API key button. -
Update Your Integration
Use the New Payment API documentation to integrate the new system into your workflow.
Important Deadlines
- The old API will be discontinued on March 31, 2025. After this date, integrations using the old API will no longer function. Ensure your migration is complete by this deadline to avoid service interruptions.
