As a regulated crypto-asset service provider, Coinify must verify every merchant before establishing a business relationship (Know Your Business, or KYB). This means verifying your company, its ownership structure, and the people who own or control it. Your account can't be approved, process payments, or receive payouts until verification is complete.

How it works
- Upload the required documents to the Documents section of your Coinify Dashboard. The full list is shown when you log in and is also described in Merchant onboarding – required documents.
- Complete the KYB questionnaire, plus any industry-specific questionnaire that applies to you (for example, gambling, foreign exchange, or payment services).
- Our team reviews your application. If anything is missing or unclear, we'll contact you, and the review is paused until we receive it.
Please upload documents in high resolution, with all information clear and visible. Documents that aren't in English may need to be accompanied by a certified translation.

Most applications are reviewed within a few business days once all documents have been received. Incomplete or unclear documents will delay the review. Higher-risk businesses go through enhanced due diligence, which may take longer and require additional documents and questionnaires.

- Bank account: it must be held in your company's legal name and match your onboarding documents.
- Crypto wallet (e.g., BTC): you'll be asked to confirm ownership of the wallet.
We may also apply transaction limits to higher-risk businesses on a case-by-case basis.
Important: You can't receive payments or payouts until your account is verified, even if your integration is complete.
